Peanut Island offers various activities within it's shoreline such as:  camping, fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming, walking trail and more! There are no concession stands or dining options such as: restaurants located on the island.  However, there are numerous dining options nearby such as: cafes, restaurants and smoothie shops, just to name a few where visitors can choose to dine or bring their food to the island to enjoy on their boat or island picnic.  Peanut Island is a nice destination zone to enjoy all kinds of activities and pastimes from watersports to picnics.  Peanut Island can be visited via personal boat, ferry service or human powered craft like kayaks and paddleboards.  The island has restroom facilities for visitors to use as well. Camping

Camping Peanut Island

Peanut Island has a unique campground featuring seventeen (17) tropically landscaped campsites in the middle of the intracoastal waterway facing the Palm Beach Inlet. Each campsite is used by permit only with each site featuring a tent pad, grill, and picnic table that can be reserved up to 90 days in advance. The campground also features restrooms with hot indoor showers, a picnic pavilion and a large fire ring. Walking Trails

Walking Peanut Island

Peanut Island does offer an onsite walking trail. The trail is a made of a paved even surface consisting of 1.25-miles that extends close to and around the perimeter of the island. The trail provides the options to walk, jog or bike along the entire public park. Located close to the shoreline, users of the path will enjoy unobstructed water views and fresh sea breezes and scenes of coastal dunes, mangroves, trees along with birds and other wildlife of Peanut Island. This path will take you to popular destination spots within Peanut Island such as: the fishing pier, observation deck, the John F. Kennedy bunker and more!
