Whether you’re an experienced angler or trying offshore fishing for the first time, you’ll have plenty of chances to hook into something exciting. Most trips involve light‑tackle trolling, and Capt. Richard can also introduce you to kite fishing, a technique known for producing explosive strikes.  Families love fishing with Byrd Dog Charters because children are welcome aboard. Kids must wear life vests, so check ahead to make sure the right sizes are available. Bring snacks and drinks to keep everyone comfortable throughout the day.

Your trip takes place on a 48’ Viking sportfishing yacht designed for serious offshore action. The vessel accommodates up to 6 guests and comes equipped with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the gear needed for a productive day on the water. There’s also a clean onboard restroom, and the crew provides rods, reels, tackle, and lures, so you can show up ready to fish.  A First Mate will assist throughout the trip, and it’s customary to offer a 10–20% tip for their hard work.  Come fish with us and make memories!
