Kennedy Bunker is located on the Island.  You can see it's location from the exterior but inside tours are not available at this point in time. Palm Beach County has apporoved a project to restore this historic shelter but it is still a work in progress and could take sinnificant more time for iut's completion. This bunker was desinged to be a bomb shelter and command center that was created in 1961 to serve the president while stayed at his home in nearby Palm Beach, Florida home during the Cold War Era and is an interesting piece of military history.
